About Course

Advanced DJing: House is a focused exploration of DJing house music at a professional level. Students learn how to prep and structure house sets with purpose, use loops and FX with intention, and deliver transitions that are musically appropriate and emotionally compelling. The final class covers DJ business essentials including set placement, gig behavior, branding, and professional expectations—equipping students with both the technique and mindset to play house sets in real-world settings from warmup to peak hours.

Cue Mastery

Students set and use hot cues to guide transitions.



Loop-Based Transitions

Students practice extending or compressing transitions using loops.

Students use beatgrids, quantize, and saved loops for precise mixing.



FX & Creative Layering

Students apply filters, delays, reverbs, and isolators to shape transitions.



Set Construction

Students plan a full set arc from opener to closer.
